Dear Secretary Detzner:
As part of your statutory duty as seeretary of state, I know you and your staff are continuing to
investigate the recent events oceurring in Broward and Palm Beach counties regarding the 2018
election. In doing so, when you find any indication creating a reasonable suspicion of potential
criminal activity, please report it to law enforcement agencies including the Florida Department
of Law Enforcement.
Furthermore, I want to remind you that Florida Statute 97.012 (15) also directs you to report any
such findings to the Office of Statewide Prosecution or the local state attorney's office when
prosecution might be warranted. I realize that you are not a prosecutor nor an attorney. I am
formally requesting that you report any reasonable suspicion of criminal activity to both the
statewide prosecutor and state attorney.
