Health, Safety & Environmental Policy

Annan Agam recognise the importance of protecting the environment, as well as preventing of injury
and ill health of our employees, contractors, visitors and others who may be affected by our action.

Ensuring the health and safety of our staff and protecting the environment are two of our highest
priorities and in order to achieve this, we, the Management of Annan Agam commit to:

 Act with foresight and proactively identify and manage all workplace risks by doing regular risk
assessments;
 Set specific objectives and targets for managing hazards and risks.
 Monitor and report all deviations and associated corrective action taken.
 Setting of specific objectives for managing health, safety and the environment;
 Understanding local, national and international laws, regulations and standards applicable to
our business;
 Make compliance with health and safety standards best practice;
 Comply with applicable health, safety and environmental legislation and other applicable
requirements;
 Document, implement and maintain this policy and ensure that it is communicated to all
employees
 Ensure employees are aware of their individual responsibility towards health, safety and
environmental protection
 Making this policy available to interested and affected parties by displaying it publicly in key
areas.
 Reviewing the health, safety and environmental policy and targets annually to ensure
appropriateness;
 Continuously strive for solutions for our services that conserve resources, are energy efficient,
enable continuous improvement and do not adversely affect the health and safety of employees
or the environment.
We will therefore insist that our employees and contractors execute their duties with competence,
diligence and will empower them to identify unsafe conditions and to report and stop unsafe behaviour.

We confirm that safety, health and environmental protection is of paramount importance to us and
forms an integral part of our business culture.
