The properties and data given in materials summary are solely informative and general in character and not to be considered binding. Values applicable to
specific cases may vary greatly depending on raw materials used and operating conditions. Please therefore contact our Applications Technology department
before selecting any specific material to discuss with them what the optimal solution for your application need/s might be.
Overview of materials 7
The materials qualities above are subject to minimum order quantities if not in stock.
We can of course supply many other materials qualities to your specifications as well as those above.
Please note that these too are subject to minimum order quantities.

12 Resistance list
This list of resistance capabilities of various elastomer qualities we supply contains an evaluation of the chemical resistance to numerous operating
media. The details that follow are based on room temperature and tests or data rendered by our suppliers and clients. The data must be
considered guidance and non-binding in view of differing operating conditions and media composition. Actual suitability of any material for its
intended purpose always needs to be checked individually. We therefore recommend resistance testing under operating conditions to safeguard
material/s choice/s. Please consult our product data sheets or contact our Application Technology department for further information.
The individual details and their meanings are:
A = 0 - 5% Swelling by volume. Elastomer swells little if at all.
A = 5 - 10% Swelling by volume. Elastomer swells to an extent between minor and moderate.
A = 10 - 20% Swelling by volume. Elastomer swells to an extent between moderate and major.
