3.

Objectives:

This is a multilateral Erasmus + project with the following objectives:

1. Promote the importance of being active European Citizens.

2. Discover new cultures and share traditional moments.

3. Improve students’ language and ICT skills by using different digital tools such as web2 tools,
presentation software, e-books, videos,, skype, etc.

4. Integrate SEN students educated in all partner schools, in a large project, allowing them to
exchange ideas through their individual abilities.

5. Use English as a means of communication in real life situations.

6. Discover other languages (oral and written) and cultures through music, songs, folklore
dances, food, everyday habits, national costumes, cities’ landmarks and booklets.

7. Compare new teaching techniques as well as educational systems from different countries.

8. Encourage staff, families and the local institution to be involved in the project. HOW?

6. Activities:

1) Schools’ presentation: Creation of a web space where each centre creates a

presentation of the school and their surroundings. Besides, they will investigate

the countries of the project partners and will upload it in this space.

2) Diffusion of the project: The schools will announce the project to the educational

community (pupils, staff, parents, local authorities…).

An Erasmus+ corner will be created in each school to inform the school community, parents and
anyone interested about the project topic and its outcomes.

We will disseminate our project results to people in other cities, regions and countries via social
media (Facebook, Twitter etc), television. Public events will be held in the community in the
form of shows or exhibitions at cultural centers or other institutions of culture and education.
Information about the activities will also be published online in each individual school’s website,
as well as on the project website, and can therefore be consulted and shared by all those
directly connected with the schools as well as by other members of the community. We will
send our project results to other schools in our cities and present the project during information
days organize in collaboration with the educational advisor of each partner.

3) Share traditions: Each school will upload on the space web a song, a dance, some
Rhymes, a national costume and a recipe of a traditional food. The other schools will learn it,
will record it and will upload it on the web. Each partner will create a mini e-book with
traditional recipes and all of them will be merged into one e-book, while producing a hardcopy
version of it to be disseminated

4) Festivities: Each centre will select of the most important festivities. It will

show to the other partners, and the students will be able to compare how common ones (for
example Christmas, Carnival Easter ...) are celebrated by different partners.

Mobilities will be coinciding with a typical party of the host country. To our centre, for

example, we’ll receive the partners during the week of Saint Jordi (there might be difficulties
with closed schools). This way the students will be able to live “in situ” the celebration of one of
the most important festivity and taste the traditions of the partner countries.

7. Group addressee:

The project is focused for that it can take part all the educational community: all the

students of school, teachers, staff, families...
