The Opportunity

Mutual funds need to increase their geographical footprint across India.

Banks need Relationship Managers (RMs) for investment advisory services

covering financial products like mutual funds

Becoming a distributor for mutual funds presents an opportunity for self

employment

Distributors / RMs serve as an important link between the manufacturers (mutual

funds) and buyers (investors) of the financial products

Intermediaries play a pivotal and valuable role in promoting sale of Mutual Funds.

Selling Mutual Funds requires you to have the highest standards of knowledge,
attitude and ethics. These standards are set by NISM and AMFI.
Regulatory Body

National Institute of Securities Markets:

NISM is a public trust, established by SEBI,

mutual funds across India.
