CAUTION
Joshua Patrick Weldon was arrested on August 13, 2018, in Alfred, Maine, and charged with Conspiracy to Distribute Fentanyl. On October 23,
2018, Weldon was released on bond with conditions of pretrial supervision, including a condition that he must reside at a sober house.
However, Weldon failed to report to the sober house on October 24, and failed to appear at a scheduled appointment at the U.S. Probation
Office on October 25. An arrest warrant was immediately issued for Weldon by the United States District Court, District of Maine, Portland,
Maine, for Violation of Order Setting Condition(s) of Release.

On the afternoon of November 6, 2018, the Sanford Police Department located a vehicle Weldon was traveling in and attempted to stop it, at
which point Weldon fled at high speeds, and left the vehicle to flee on foot. While a canine team was tracking Weldon, he was able to obtain a
ride to a Springvale, Maine, apartment where he smashed the glass of the front door after being refused entry.
This investigation is being conducted by the FBI’s Southern Maine Gang Task Force, the Sanford Police Department, and the York County
Sheriff’s Office.
