The Sunday School is looking for 2 electric
guitars to use as props for the Christmas
program. The actors will pantomime playing
so we don’t need amps! It would also be

ST. JOHN'S ANGEL TREE
Check out the Angel Tree in the sanctuary!
There are gift tag suggestions for six families.
Five of the families come from Norfolk and were
provided to us by Bright Horizons. The sixth
family is from San Luis, Mexico. Pastor Miguel
and his wife Domaris have three young children.
They minister to the people of San Luis and their
home is open to all in need.
Please take a tag off the Angel tree and go
shopping. Return the wrapped presents with
the tag attached to the office by Sunday,
December 16th. UNLESS you have a red tag.
The red tags are for our family in Mexico and
they have to be returned by Sunday, Dec. 2nd.

Thank you to my church family for the cards,
prayers and phone calls when I was in the
hospital and after I got home. Thank you Pastor
Randy for coming to the hospital when I had
surgery and sitting with my family. Thank you
for visiting me while in the hospital – it meant a

Men’s Chorus
will be
presenting
their
Christmas
production
“This Little Babe” under the direction of Ron
Lofgren on Sunday, Dec. 2 @ 3PM at the
Johnny Carson Theatre. Tickets are $5 in
advance and $6 at the door, and may be
purchased at The Abbey, Companion Animal
Clinic, Lou’s Thrifty-Way, and from chorus
members.
Chosen ChristCare will again be collecting
money and cookies to be given to the
Madison County Juvenile Detention Center
for Christmas meals. Any additional funds
remaining will be used to purchase a
pingpong table. Monetary donations may be
dropped off at the office or placed in the
offering plate designated “JDC”. Cookies can
be brought to the office closer to the pick-up
date of Monday, Dec. 24 (no later than
noon). Thank you!
