Post Lesson Reflection

Overall aim and context of the lesson – (Brief description)

My subject was about Science and the students should identify and describe the differences between
insects that fly and do not fly. First of all I say to my students lest think about our lesson I show them
some flashcard to make the students think about what we will study now. Then I explain for them
which of the insects is fly after that I will put for then some song about the insects and I will present
for them some picture and they will say which one is not fly they will answer my question now they
are ready to do the activity because they are understand the lesson.

Discuss one aspect that YOU feel you did very well. Try to analyze why you think it worked well about the
successful strategy/ resource/activity/management style etc.

I really liked my activity and my way that I teach them I did will when the students was in the circle
time and I explain for them everything when I ask them any question they will answer but I face many
problem and I think how I can solve this problem for next time that I will teaching them.

Discuss an aspect identified by YOU that requires attention. Discuss what the problem was, why it occurred
and what action you intend to take to be more successful in the next lesson.

I have a problems with a transition it was the first time for me and I don’t who is in the red group or
blue when I say red group stand up all the students was stand then the students was say for the other
students you are not in the red group then they come to me teacher Shahad Ahmad (for example) not
in red group and they was move and run in the class I don’t know why? I was surprised. The other
problem was with the activity I make only two activities for two groups and the other two was play
and make annoying in the class.

Consider your classroom management?


I was not good in the transition and I will start thinking now for the way that will make the transition
better for the next time.
Did you archive your objectives? Did the children learn? How do you know this?

In the end of my lesson I ask my students to come to the mat again to make a quick review to confirm
that the students understand the lesson.

Personal Focus for next Lesson:

In the next time I will make more activity for the all groups to make them busy and I will think for the
way that will be better for the transition to make my lesson good.
