Caponga championed at Central 2 in Storytelling; Mendoza triumphed at

2nd place

Reynalyn Caponga won the division championship of grade-six storytelling while Nicole Mendoza
finished at second place in grade-four of same category.

“It’s a different Reynalyn that we witnessed at the division level. From now on, it will be a more rigorous
training for this upcoming regional competition,” said Curt Cruz, the teacher coach of Caponga.

“Salamat sa Panginoon at ginabayan niya ako na manalo dahil talagang lahat ng sumali ay mahuhusay
talaga,” said Reynalyn after hearing the announcement of winners.

Mendoza won the second place in her grade level.

“Kahit hindi ako pumasok sa Region ay lagi pa rin akong magpupursige para sa mga susunod pang
laban,” said Mendoza.

“Ang dalawang ito ay may malayong mararating,” said Ms. Melba Fundano, the Filipino coordinator of
Aplaya Elementary School.
