1ª PASIVA - THING + NEED(s) + ING

Esta pasiva la usamos para decir que hace falta hacer algo. En castellano suena así: Hace falta
limpiar el suelo / El suelo necesita limpiarse.
En inglés suena así:
The floor needs cleaning.

NUNCA HAGAS UNA PASIVA DEL NEED CON PERSONAS, SIEMPRE CON SUJETOS QUE SON
COSAS

1. The room has to be painted. The room needs painting.

2. My trousers are dirty so I have to wash them. My trousers need washing.

3. The dress is too long, you must shorten it.

4. The computer is faulty, you have to format it.

5. The table is broken, you have to repair it.

6. The floor was dirty, you had to clean it.

7. The trees branches are too long.

8. The bed is not made.

9. The windows are filthy.

10. My clock has stopped.

11. The room was untidy.

12. Your silk suit has stains.

13. You had a problem with your eyes.

14. You have tooth decay you must go to a dentist.

15. The water tap wasn't working.

16. Yesterday, the grass was long.

17. Yesterday, the windows were broken.

18. The room will be untidy with so many things everywhere.

19. The dress was too long.

20. The road will be too narrow so it must be widened.

21. You will have to wash the car.

22. The computer was broken.

23. They had to paint the room.

24. They had to lengthen the runway.
