1. Assess patient health problems and needs, develop and implement nursing care plans, and
maintain medical records.
4.Implementing plans through tasks such as preparing patients for operations, wound treatment
and monitoring pulse, blood pressure and temperature.
8. Consult and coordinate with health care team members to assess, plan, implement and
evaluate patient care plans.
9.Monitor all aspects of patient care, including diet and physical activity.
11. Assess the needs of individuals, families and/or communities, including assessment of
individuals' home and/or work environments to identify potential health or safety problems.
12.Instruct individuals, families and other groups on topics such as health education, disease
prevention and childbirth, and develop health improvement programs.
13.Maintains confidentiality in matters related to patient family and client facility staff.
14. Provides care in non-judgmental, non-discriminating manner that is sensitive to patients and
family’s diversity preserving their autonomy, dignity and rights.
15. Conducts discharge planning with patient, family, and health team.
