Scope of Work : Altronic Call Out Service (Monitoring full load & Training Altronic Device)

A. Background
Has been done Altronic Call Out Service (Monitoring Full Load & Training Altronic Device) on
25th October until 1st November 2018 at PetroChina International Jabung Ltd. Geragai - Jambi. Call out
service is based on contract upgrading ignition, detonation and fuel system for waukesha at27gl.

B. Activity
a) Monitoring full load at K600, K5100, K5200, K5300
Petrochina international jabung Ltd, Geragai Jambi have a program to running full load at CPS
Compressor. All compressor running to raise volume target that has been setting by petrochina and to
know how much capacity can handled by engine compressor. Engine running full load about 3 days with
target volume 60 mmscfd. Overall engine can reach the target volume on the 3rd day. But there was one
incident when high BTU happen unit at hamilton site shutdown that affected to cps compressor. Unit
K5200 and K5300 immediately shutdown but at K5100 and K600 unit still running because the unit has
been installed EPC 150 Air Fuel Controller. In general at EPC 150 Air Fuel Controller, the stepper
motor going move to follow the O2 sensor target. The position of the stepper motor in the engine will
adjust the composition of the fuel detected from the O2 sensor, when the fuel is too much or rich then
the stepper motor will move close and when the fuel is too little then the stepper motor will move open.
Range from the stepper motor is 0 until 1700, 0 is full closed and 1700 is full open. We have been take
the gas analysis data also during monitoring full load. And the result is ok. The O2 compisition is at 9.8
%.

b) Training Altronic Device


After monitoring full load, we conduct training altronic product for upgrading fuel, detonation, and
ignition system to CPS Compressor Crew. Training lasts for 3 days, consist of 4 main subject among
others EPC 150 air fuel controller, DET 1600, CPU 95, & DSM 43920.
Outside of the main subject is also given knowladge about AFR fundamental, tableu software, and
analysis sparkplug condition with osciloscop. Following is a summary of the training :
1. AFR is the amount of air measured by mass in relation to the mass of fuel supplied to an engine for
combustion.
2. Hunting/Surging caused by climate change among others rain or cloudy. At raining temprature
change to be down that affected to air density become denser therefore the engine requires more
energy to load.
3. Tableau is the most powerful, secure, and flexible end-to-end analytics platform for data. We can
make an visualization from data log engine to analysis if any shutdown and abnormality. Following

b) After that windows of tableau will be open, click file -- open, to find document that want to
visualization and analyze.

c) After document opened, windows data source will be opened, there will be appear all the data to
be analyze. Click sheet 1 to edit the data.

d) And then start to edit data and make visualization, following picture is practice result for analyze
data log from K600 compressor with Tableau.

4. If any something wrong with fuel, from data will be eppear ignition going Down, DET will be up,
and EPC will be up because adjust fuel changes.

a) L : amount of cylinder
b) 4 : 4 stroke

6. Programming CPU 95 must be shutdown condition, and make sure after programming and running
the USB cable is released from the CPU 95 otherwise it will damage the laptop.
7. During installation Ez-Rail and CPU 95, don't forget to installed ground cable properly, because if
ground not installed will cause demage to the device.
8. Following step by step to setting osciloscop for analyze spark plug :
a) Push Scope - wave from option - and then set some of the setting : Glitch detect : OFF,
Avarage : OFF, Waveform : NORMAL.

c) Push trigger - wave form option - trigger option - and then set some of the setting : Trigger :
Pulse widht on A, Pulse : ᴫ , Condition : >t , update : on trigger.

C. Conclusion
Altronic Call Out Service (full load monitoring & Altronic Device Training) has been successfully
implemented and goes according to plan.
