Job Profile & Responsibility as an Electrical Engineer

Project Management

 Coordinate with engineering & design team, planning engineer & construction team in preparation
and implementation of project execution plan to complete the project on time.
 Assess project issues and identify solution to meet Quality and Client requirements.
 Assist with the effective management, control, monitoring and reporting of suppliers and
subcontractors, including the coordination between suppliers / contractors and the technical,
document control, cost, schedule, expediting, inspection, project services and commercial
interfaces
 Assist with the development and review of Project documentation, including Project
specifications; drawings; scopes of work; vendor documentation; supplier / contract tender, award
and administration packages; estimates; schedules; reports; studies; plans; procedures and the like
 Assist in monitoring discipline progress and performance with the Discipline Leads and assist in
developing action plans, when required.
 Proactively communicate project status, issues and risks to management.
 Assist in interfacing and coordinating with Company
 Manage the Contractor on day to day basis & track daily progress & review project tasks to ensure
deadline are met appropriately.
 Follow up with vendors to ensure timely delivery of material and other project deliverables at site
for smooth operation.
 Ensure Quality and safety compliance at site and throughout the project life cycle as per Project
specification and standards.
 Maintain Contractor pool, continuously train the contractor & In-house manpower and ensure
proper tools and infrastructure at site for timely completion.
 Attend regular site meeting with contractor and PMC/Client.
 Ensuring the complete documentation during the life cycle of Project.
 Ensure complete material management and Site.
 Familiar with international codes and standards.
 Find out fault and solve the problem during plant commissioning.
 Understanding about cold & hot work permit, confined space entry systems.
 Knowledge of area classifications, safety requirement and tool box talks..
 Resources availability for better execution.
 Making daily, weekly and monthly plan for achieving target.
 Making daily progress report.

Installation and Maintenance:

 Prepare and study technical drawings, specifications of electrical systems.
 Installation of Transformer & Motors, Cable laying, Glanding, End termination, Cable tray
erection, earthling etc.
 Installation of control panel, analyzer panel, system panel, switchgear.
 Preventive and routine maintenance of transformer.
 Preventive maintenance of HT & LT motors.
 Preventive maintenance of different types of HT, LT & automation panel.
 Preventive maintenance of circuit breakers such as ACB, VCB.
 AC UPS& DC Battery Charger maintenance activities and monthly maintenance of stand by
batteries.
 Monitoring spare parts inventory and issuing the materials as per requirement.
 Involved in plant shut down, maintenance activities.
 Involved in preparing root cause analysis, monthly reports, tracking work orders.
 Involved in trouble shooting of HT, LT cable faults and other electrical equipment.
 Dismantle and laying of HT, LT, control & signal cable.
