Manners in Islam:
Islam manners have a huge impact on our
lives, it’s the foundation of our daily lives
in which we can achieve success and be
more peaceful. Every person can achieve
success in their life by having or dealing
with praised manners. Manners is not only
an essential part of our religion but also
makes our lives more pleasant in a way.
My opinion is that having good manners
is a MUST and every Muslim should be
groomed to be taught and to teach good
manners. In the Quran, Allah (SWT)
praised prophet Muhammed (PBUH) and
said: ‘’And verily, you O Muhammed PBUH
are on exalted standard of character’’ (Al-
Qalam 68:4). The prophet wanted his
people to have good manners and urged
them to possess and practice good
manners and keep distance from the bad
ones, just like our prophet did, except he
had a completely different level of
manners.

(SAW) said, “Nothing is weightier on the
Scale of Deeds than one’s good
manners.” (Al-Bukhari)
 Abu Hurairah (RA) said, “I heard Abu al
Qasim (Rasulullah (SAW)), say, ‘The best
among you in Islam are those with the
best manners, so long as they develop a
sense of understanding.” (Al-Bukhari)
 Rasulullah (SAW) said: “The most
beloved of Allah’s servants to Allah are
those with the best manners.” (At-

The Islamic Teaching of

Telling the truth:
Our Prophet Muhammad (SAW), was known
as the most truthful person in all of Makkah
and this belief went on from the end of idol
worshipping to the beginning of Islam.
Prophet Muhammad (SAW) is a perfect
example of truthfulness. He emphasized on
his prodigious amount of excellent manner,
he taught these to his people to speak the
truth and always use good manners while
doing anything or in-front of anyone.

“I enjoin you to be truthful, for truthfulness leads to righteousness and righteousness leads
to Paradise. A man may continue to tell the truth and endeavour to be truthful until he is
recorded with Allah as truthful. And beware of lying, for lying leads to wickedness, and
wickedness leads to the Fire. A man may continue to tell lies and endeavour to tell lies, until
he is recorded with Allah as a liar.” (Muslim 2607)

When you tell the truth, you genuinely feel

very enlightened and you get inner peace,
because when you lie, you need a million
other lies just to cover up that one whereas
when you tell the truth, you don’t feel as bad
as you would if you lie, and telling the truth
opens many doors to heaven and goodness
that leads us to paradise and your bad deeds
start to decrease
“It is only those who believe not in the Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs,
revelations, etc.) of Allah, who fabricate falsehood, and it is they who are liars.” (An-Nahl
16:105).
