India is a signatory of the Intergovernmental Agreement on Asian Highways network; which was ratified in Dec, 2008. The Article IV of the iBrfement provides for the instalation of AH route signs whose details are given i Amexure III of the Agreement. These signs are to be installed within a period of five years from the date of entry into the Agreement by India, ‘The shape/size and other information /clevfication regarding the AH Route signs would be as per the guidelines prescribed in the code IRC: 67-2010 (C1-16.104 for the AH route marker sign) published by the IRC (Copy enclosed).
