The organizer shall be responsible in ensuring the function room to be vacated by 4:30pm
Should your event is extended past the agreed time, a room rental of minimum RM3,000.00nett per hour will be levied
depending on the size of the function room.

Function rooms are assigned by the guaranteed minimum number of people anticipated. We reserve the right to
relocate group to a room suitable for the attendance with notification, if the attendance fluctuates.

MUSIC LICENSING REQUIREMENTS
A Music Rights Malaysia Bhd (MRM) Public Performance and/or Commercial Rental Licence(s) is/are legally required
for events held at our premises should there be any public performance of music in any form including via mobile
machine equipment/devices, karaoke, DJs and/or live performance artists/musicians.

The client shall bear sole responsibility to obtain and pay for MRM’s applicable licences prior to their event(s) including
for any civil and/or criminal enforcement action(s) which may be taken.

A preferential 10% MRM licence fee discount will be applicable for relevant MRM single event licence application
forms completed and submitted by the client via our management office for endorsement and submission by the client
to MRM at least 3 working days prior to the start of each such event.

PARKING
A flat rate of RM2.00nett per entry will be applicable for all guests attending your event with validation from the
banquet department.

BACKDROP / LOGO
Standard backdrop of not more than 60 alphabets will be extended on complimentary (excluding logo). Please
advise backdrop wordings 14 days prior to event.
Additional alphabet will be charged RM2.00nett per alphabet.
Logo price ranges from RM150.00nett onwards.

DIRECTORY POSTING
We will announce your function in our directory posting board located in the lobby and function room level for
your guests’ attention. Kindly advise us on the wordings 14 days prior to event.

DECORATION
Please let us know if you need to decorate the function room. Promotional materials and displays cannot be posted,
tacked, nailed, screwed or attached to columns, walls, floor or other parts of the hotel building or furniture. Should
permission be granted, the organizer shall be responsible for all damages, breakage and cleaning of all materials
and display. A visual of the intended decoration must be submitted to the hotel for approval.

SPACE HOLD
Kindly be informed that NO function space has been made at this moment, thus our function rooms will be subjected
to availability upon your confirmation in writing to us.
DEPOSIT/PAYMENT POLICY
1. A holding deposit equivalent to one night’s total room charge and a function deposit of 50% of the total event
cost is required to confirm your booking. This deposit is non-refundable and non-transferable.
2. Full payment of total estimated charges is required fourteen (14) days prior to the event, unless guaranteed by
credit card or Letter of Undertaking should the company have credit facilities.
3. The hotel accepts payment in form of bank draft, telegraphic money transfer or credit card. All payments by
cheque should be addressed to “BBT HOTEL SDN BHD”.
