TTP HARD Drills Bits Are Officially Certified as HARD

TTP HARD drill bits Ltd. knew their cobalt drill bits were hard but wanted to know exactly how
hard. They commissioned SGS, the world's leading testing and certification company, to find out
how hard they were.

Manchester, United Kingdom, November 29, 2018 --(PR.com)-- UK-based TTP HARD drills Limited
have been supplying their range of cobalt drill bits to professionals and DIY enthusiasts for years.
Customers from Manchester to Melbourne have been using their drill bits for drilling through hard metals
such as stainless steel with ease, often encouraged from watching the tutorial videos online which show
best drilling practices.

Drill bits are available in both Metric and Imperial sizes and can be bought with "CUT-IT" their own
brand of metal cutting paste which has been designed to make any drilling task easier.

Earlier this year Managing director Brendan Kennedy decided to get both their drill bits and their cutting
paste tested to see just how good they were. Brendan said, “We commissioned two of the world's leading
inspection, verification, testing and certification companies to test our cobalt drill bits for hardness and
our cutting paste for its ability to resist extreme pressure.”

Their drill bits were sent to SGS who conducted a Hardness check to BS EN ISO 6508-1:2016 using the
Vickers testing method. A video was made showing the testing procedure which uses a diamond to indent
the drill bit at various points. A hardness rating was then established based on the size of indent made by
the diamond. A rockwell hardness of 66 was recorded.

CUT-IT cutting paste was sent to SFS Subsea Fluid Services who were commissioned to carry out and
video the Falex Load Test in accordance with ASTM D 3233-93. This is the standard test method for
measurement of extreme pressure properties of fluid lubricants.

The test was run with a test load of 1,300 lbs. for 30 minutes, the result was that even under such pressure
CUT-IT paste was still lubricating well.

TTP HARD drills are undoubtedly delighted with the results and have videos of both tests along with
certifications available online.
