RAMLOX® 311 WINTER is a high performance, carbon bonded, high alumina plastic that contains silicon
carbide and graphite. It is designed for installing trough sidewalls, making trough repairs, constructing
skimmers, and maintaining the breasts of the blast furnace taphole. It has excellent resistance to the erosive
forces of molten iron and slag. It has found wide acceptance where iron is held for prolonged periods. This
material is also very effective for installations and repair of iron and slag runners.
