Course information The University of Calgary has hundreds of courses in many subjects. However, there are
some registration restrictions that you need to be aware of. We encourage all exchange
students to be flexible in their course selection and submit a list of 10-12 courses per
semester that you would like to take.

You can view all courses taught at the University of Calgary through our Calendar. You
can access the Course Schedule once you log on to your My UofC account. The schedule
has a list of all of the courses available in the current academic year
https://www.ucalgary.ca/pubs/calendar/current/course-main.html

If you are applying for a Fall semester exchange, you will need to select courses from the
Calendar or current Schedule of Classes to support your application. These may not be
courses that you end up taking. The Schedule of Classes for the upcoming year is usually
posted after our application deadline, so our Exchange Coordinator will work with you
to finalize your course selection after the updated Schedule of Classes is posted.

Some courses may be online learning courses or located off the University of Calgary
campus. If you are looking at the Schedule of Classes, this information will be in the
“Class Notes” section when you click on the courses section.

Most courses offered by the business faculty, provided students have the prerequisites.
Registration is also dependent on space availability. The Master timetable can be viewed
