Hinkler 12 Days of Christmas Facebook Competition Terms and Conditions

General
1. By participating in Hinkler Books’ 12 Days of Christmas competition (Promotion), each
participant fully and unconditionally agrees and acknowledges that these terms and
conditions are binding.
2. The promoter is Hinkler Books, trading as Hinkler Books Pty Ltd, ACN 061 321 766 of 45-
55 Fairchild St Heatherton VIC 3202 (Promoter).
3. The Promotion commences at 09:00 AM (AEDT) on Saturday 1 December 2018 and closes
at 08:59 AM (AEDT) on Thursday 13 December 2018 (Promotion Period).
4. The Promotion consists of 12 prize packs in total. One (1) prize pack is available to be won
on each day of the Promotion Period, commencing at 09:00 AM (AEDT) and closing at 08:59
AM (AEDT) the following day.
5. Entry is open to Australian residents only who are over 13 years of age.
6. The Promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with,
Facebook.
7. By entering and participating, entrant agrees to hold harmless, defend and indemnify
Facebook from and against any and all claims, demands, liability, damages or causes of
action (however named or described), losses, costs or expenses, with respect to or arising
out of or related to:
a. Entrant’s participation in the Promotion, or
b. Entrant’s participation in any prize-related activities, acceptance of a prize and/or use or
misuse of a prize (including, without limitation, any property loss, damage, personal injury,
or death caused to any person(s).

How to Enter
8. To enter this Promotion, you must answer the Promotional Question which features the
prize pack available to be won posted on Facebook by the Promoter between 09:00 AM
(AEDT) on the date of the post until 08:59 AM (AEDT) the following day, in the Promotional
Question’s Facebook comment section.
9. This is a game of skill and chance plays no part in the selection of a winner. The
Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into with entrants.
10. Entrants can respond to all twelve (12) Promotional Questions. Multiple entries by an
entrant are not permitted to the same Promotional Question.
11. The use of automatic entry software, mechanical or electronic devices that allows an
individual to automatically enter the competition is prohibited and may render all entries
submitted by that individual invalid.
12. Employees of the Promoter, immediate family members of any employee, and any
associated company or agency of the Promotion are not eligible to enter.
13. Entries not completed in accordance with these terms and conditions are void. Entries
will be deemed void if stolen, forged, mutilated, or tampered with in any way.

Draw and Prizes

14. Judging for the prize for each Promotional Question will take place at 45-55 Fairchild St
Heatherton VIC 3202.
15. Twelve (12) winners will receive one (1) prize pack each. There are twelve (12) prize
packs available to be won in total.
16. One (1) entrant can win multiple prize packs.
17. The value of each prize pack is approximately:
a. Prize pack one (1): RRP $99.95 AUD
b. Prize pack two (2): RRP $100.94 AUD
c. Prize pack three (3): RRP $84.91 AUD
d. Prize pack four (4): RRP $80.96 AUD
e. Prize pack five (5): RRP $79.95 AUD
f. Prize pack six (6): RRP $84.95 AUD
g. Prize pack seven (7): RRP $89.94 AUD
h. Prize pack eight (8): RRP $93.94 AUD
i. Prize pack nine (9): RRP $79.94 AUD
j. Prize pack ten (10): RRP $72.93 AUD
k. Prize pack eleven (11): RRP $84.93 AUD
l. Prize pack twelve (12): RRP $99.95 AUD
18. Hinkler will announce the winners for each prize pack in a post on Facebook at 09:00 AM
(AEDT) on Friday 14 December 2018.
19. Winners of this Promotion will be contacted directly via a Facebook message by close of
business on Monday 17 December 2018.
20. In this Facebook message, the winner(s) will be sent instructions to redeem their prize.
21. This prize is non-transferable, non-refundable, cannot be sold, exchanged for cash.
22. If the winner(s) cannot be contacted, the Promoter has the right to select a new
winner(s).
23. The Promoter reserves the right to alter the rules of the competition at any time.
