ATTITUDE DEVELOPMENT STATEMENTS

Name : Maria SIlvana Dhawo

 I should display consistently respectful towards the cultural diversity by connecting with fellow
students in my college from different cultures because it would lead me to build a strong
relationship with other and it provides the learning material to discover their life’s perspective
and enrich my mind. (Hence, (in a college life) I don’t just open the books, but also open my
mind).

 I should display consistently respectful towards the cultural diversity by not participating in
jokes that are derogatory to any culture because I live in the colorful country with many
cultures. Harmony in Unity is the motto of my country. Our cultures are our Identity. By jokes
the specific culture, we joke our identity.

 I should display consistently respectful towards the cultural diversity by honoring their cultural
or religious event because it facilitates me to practice intercultural tolerance. If I respect other
cultures, they will do the same against my culture.

 I should display consistently respectful towards the cultural diversity in my daily life by support
my fellow students in my college from different cultures because I am a nurse candidate, by
supporting other (specifically my patient), I have shown one of the forms of caring behavior as
the essence of nursing.
