MAS-AMICUS SBD Training Program Requirements

1. Batch Name

1.1. The incoming trainees shall have a batch name that includes: Batch philosophy from bible
verse connected to their batch name, and elect a Batch Officer.

2. Scripture Song Copy

2.1. The trainees shall have a copy of scripture song attached in their Bible and able to memorize
atleast 20 scripture songs.
2.2. If no copy available, ask the assistance from SBD.

3. Bible Marking Code

3.1. It is necessary for a trainee to have his/her own Bible with Bible markings attached in it.
3.2. If there are no copies available in the Chapter, the SBD will provide the above mention.

4. CBL

4.1. Trainees are said to have a copy of NCMC Constitution and By Laws such as Mission and
Vision attached to their tickler including Preamble.
4.2. Each trainee shall memorize the preamble as a guiding principle in the MAS-AMiCUS
organization.

5. Tickler

5.1. It is necessary for a trainee to have his/her own tickler with a picture as an identification
(Formal picture, no selfie picture allowed).
5.2. Tickler includes Personal Data, NCMC vision and Mision, List of MAS AMICUS Chapter
Officers, List of Batch Officers, MAS AMICUS Theme Song, Preamble, MAS AMICUS logo and
Batch Song.
5.3. Divide the tickler into three parts: Batch Member, MAS AMiCUS Member and Alumni.
5.4. Batch Member. Let the Batch trainee in the chapter sign first before other trainees from
other chapter can sign.
5.5. MAS AMICUS Member. Same principle as in 5.4.
5.6. MAS AMICUS Alumni. Atleast 10 Alumni from the Chapter, before other Chapter Alumni can
sign.
5.7. In each division, it has the following parts: Name, Nickname, Age, Birthdate, Address, Course
and Year ("Current Work" for Alumni), Cellphone Number, Batch Name and Number, Batch Song
and Batch Verse, and lastly the Message. After the message is a signature from the person
interviewed.
5.8. During the signing of tickler, the MAS AMICUS Member can ask a question or give an activity
before signing the tickler (Activities that focuses on Christ or organization).
5.9. The Batch shall choose a color for their tickler different from other chapter and tickler of
same size for each chapter.
5.10. Make the tickler with creativity.
6. MAS AMICUS Themesong

6.1. Trainees shall have a copy of MAS AMICUS Themesong and able to sing it with right tune
and right words without copy.

7. MAS AMICUS Logo

7.1. Trainees shall be able to explain the meaning of MAS AMICUS logo.

8. Scrapbook

8.1. The incoming trainees shall have a Batch Scrapbook and video presentation to be submitted
to SBD.
8.2. Provide documentation of activities for every chapter.

9. Speaker of the Service

9.1. Each trainee shall be a speaker during Midweek or Vesper Service.


9.2. Topics will be given by the Shepherding Committee.

10. Batch Outing

10.1. It is an outing wherein, the trainees will be going to other church and take hold of the
Program for the whole Sabbath. Plan for the Program accordingly.

11. Preliminary Screening

11.1. It is necessary for a trainee to participate in the Preliminary Screening to evaluate how far
the trainee have accomplish the requirements.
11.2. Bring the following: Tickler, Bible and Handkerchief.

12. Baptismal Form

12.1. A trainee should obtain a baptismal form or a Church recommendation stating that a
person has a good moral conduct and is a member of Seventh Day Adventist Church.

13. Attendance

13.1. The Spherding Committee shall provide an attendance sheet for trainees to monitor their
involvement both in MAS AMICUS Program and training.

14. Acceptance Program

14. The MAS AMICUS Officers and Committees shall have another requisite from above mention
requirements.
