3a ROOT Directory

The ROOT directory will contain the following directories:
o DOC
o GAZETTEER
o DATA
The ROOT directory will also contain the following ASCII text file:

 3b DOCUMENTS Directory

Below are the types of documents contained within the DOCUMENTS directory. Ad
ditional information is
also found within the Product Pages for Strategi on the Ordnance Survey Websi
te:
o LICENCE.TXT - Important licence information.
o STRATEGI_RELEASE_YYYY_CHANGE.txt - Product changes associated with th
at release.
o STRATEGI_AREA.txt - Information relating to geographic
al area.

The DOCUMENTS directory may contain additional documentation specific to that

supply.
Where YYYY refers to the year.

3c GAZETTEER Directory

The GAZETTEER directory will contain the Gazetteer data.
The Data is National Coverage in an ASCII text format. The structure will app
ear as follows:

Where YYYY refers to the year (2009 for example).

3d DATA Directory

The DATA directory will contain directories of formats.
The title of the sub-directory will be the name of the format.
