Journal 2

The second week. On Sunday the 7th of October 2018, the morning broadcast was about teacher’s day,
this day make me feel that I have an important role, a role that make me feel proud and more
confidence. As soon as I enter the classroom in the early morning, there was a child called Ghaith, when
I arrived he gave me a red rose, it was actually my second week and I am not well used to them, that
really make me feel happy and blessed. In the assembly the vice principle gave each teacher a gift which
is a pencil, when we went back to the classrooms, she came and give each teacher including us a small
gift, she also take care of us and she planned for a teachers catering, and they were ladies that are
passing to all the classes and each time they have something for the teachers to eat or drink.

In the second day of the week, Nada and I planned to give the teachers a simple giveaways, they were
really happy about it, and that’s really make us happy too.

On the third day, as soon as we entered the classrooms after the assembly, the Arabic teacher told me
that there is one of the children brought for me a flower and she is holding it from when she first arrive
to school, she ask me to take it from her, the child name is Ghala, she was really cute, and when I took it
from her she felt really happy about it. In break time Ghaith came to me and told me that he gave me a
flower, he was really shy to tell.

The forth day which is the day miss Nadya came to observe me, as long as I have a good MST’s and a
motivated class I am not worried about anything. I planned really well for this day, the children like what
I present, they were active and everything went well.
