Novena in Honor of the

Immaculate Conception
Praise and glory to Mary most holy, Mother of
God and our LORD, conceived without the least stain
of original sin from the very moment of her
conception.
In the name of the father and of the Son and of
the Holy Spirit Amen.

=Act of Contrition =
My Lord Jesus, true God and true man, my
Creator and Redeemer, whom I believe, trust and
love above all things. I am very sorry for all the sins
have committed because thou art all good and
deserving of all my love. I resolve with all my heart
not to sin again. Pardon me my Lord and Savior and
strengthen my love for thee. Grant me the grace to
make a worthy novena for thy greater glory and the
exaltation of Mary ever Virgin who, in her title of the
Immaculate Conception, was made through the
voice of the Holy Father, patroness of the whole
Philippines. And her loving intercession keep me
away from sin so that I may be worthy to receive the
favor I wish to obtain during this novena. Amen.
Special Prayer to Our Mother
Mary
Most worthy child of the eternal Father, Mother of
God, the son and spouse of the Holy Spirit, loving and
merciful patroness of the Philippines under the title of the
Immaculate Conception: in thee I put all my trust and
confidence. To the best of my ability, I will praise all thy
glories in this sacred mystery.
Have mercy on us, poor sinners, who are loaded
down with debts to the Divine Justice. With what
ingratitude have we acknowledged the infinite
goodness of our Heavenly Father, Enlighten our mind,
O Mary ever Virgin, and show us how ungrateful we are
to God for the sins without thy patronage, I will be lost. I
promise to serve and love thee all the moments of my
sojourn here on Earth. Pray that I may always feel the
abhorrence for sin that I may always strive to fulfil the
duties required by my state of life and I may always
hope for salvation in the names of Jesus and Mary,
especially at the hour of death.
I also beseech thee to bless and protect my
country, since thou art its loving patroness, so that it may
always bloom in the faith and love for the Almighty God.
Lastly, I humbly ask three to help me obtain the grace I
desire during this novena if it be for the glory of God and
the salvation of my soul. Amen.

O God, who by the Immaculate Conception of the Virgin
didst make her a worthy habitation for thy Son and didst, by His
foreseen death preserve her from all stain of sin, grant we
beseech three, that through her intercession we may be
cleansed from sin and come with pure hearts to thee. Through
the same Christ our Lord. Amen.

THE MEMORARE
Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary that never was it
known that anyone who fled to thy protection implored thy help
or sought thy intercession was left unaided. Inspired with this
confidence we fly unto three, sinful and sorrowful. O mother of
the World Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but graciously
hear and answer me. Amen.
O Mary, conceived without sin, pray for us who have
recourse to thee. (3 times)
