U.S. Army Cyber Command 2015 – 2017
Chief Operations Officer

 Chief operations officer for the US Army’s Cyber Command- largest network in DoD; breadth of
responsibility span the Army globally, from the tactical edge to national levels.
 Governed the US Army’s security policies, procedures, designs, networks, application
deployments and implementation at all Army cyber locations.
 Responsible for planning, coordinating, integrating, synchronizing and supervising
organizational efforts for the conduct of full spectrum cyberspace operations --DoD Information
Network operations, defensive cyberspace operations and offensive cyberspace operations.
 Responsible for the planning and execution of the logistical and human capital requirements for
the US Army’s cyber mission forces.
 Regularly reviewed and assessed emerging technologies to make determinations on those to be
used throughout Army cyber units.
 Strategically aligned Army defensive cyber operations with NIST and ISO standards.
 Developed, maintained and exercised disaster recovery and continuity operations for the US
Army.

 Led the largest and most complex Joint, Interagency, and multi-national Signals Intelligence
and Cyber Command in the Department of Defense. Provided unmatched support to warfighters
and National decision makers while caring for the health, welfare and readiness of the 6,000+
personnel and their families.
 Governed and had overall responsibility for technology and operational risk management,
classified information protection and security assurance for the largest and most complex
Signals Intelligence and Cyber Command in the Department of Defense.
 Managed and prioritized an annual operating budget of over $950 Million dollars.
 Responsible for the security, installation and logistics in running a 24/7, 160 acre secure
compound with nearly 1 million square feet of U.S. Government accredited facility where Top
Secret, Sensitive Compartmented Information can be stored, discussed or electronically
processed – without a single security violation.
 Restructured critical cyber and intelligence assets that increased responsiveness, improved
effectiveness and expanded hardening of the network – that delivered results, shaped national
policy and saved lives.
