    increase in the
    average measured temp
    of the Earth's near-
    surface air and oceans
    since the mid-20th
    century, and its
    projected
    solar radiation in the form of light waves
    passes through the atmosphere.

    most of this radiation is absorbed by the earth


    and warms it.
    some energy is radiated back into space by the
    earth in the form of infrared waves.
    some of the outgoing infrared radiation is
    stopped
    by the earth's atm. and warms it.
    Due to this pollution a thick layer is form over
    the earth which is help to stop the radiation.
