Programme Objectives
The main purposes of the Programme are
To assist ACP countries in reforming and adjusting to the multilateral trading system
To improve their capacity to negotiate and implement multilateral trade agreements
To integrate trade into the development process of the ACP countries
To facilitate accession of ACP member countries to the WTO
The Fulbright NEXUS program will begin in May 2011 and end in April 2012.

Caribbean-Wide On-Line Distance Education Facility

Applications are invited for a short term consultancy (12 months) to coordinate Caribbean-Wide On-Line Distance Education
Facility for the Shridath Ramphal Centre.
The MAP prioritizes certain areas of intervention, based on activities carried out by the Inter-American Development Bank
(IDB) as part of its Business Climate Initiative (BCI). The MAP is open to participation by governments and private sector
institutions in Latin America and the Caribbean committed to improving the productive environment. The MAP is supported by
the Fondo General de Cooperación de España and executed by the Capital Markets and Financial Institutions Division, part of
the IDB Institutional Capacity and Finance Department.
Project proposals may be submitted through the periodic call for proposals at www.iadb/map/en.
