ABSTRACT

The purpose of this project is to built a UAV with Vertical


Takeoff and Landing capability using the Coanda Effect as a source for flying and
maneuvering. This UAV can do all the manuevers which was done by familiar Quadrotors
but this UAV consists of a single rotor which saves more energy than quadcopters which
results to low weight and more endurance. Due to the single rotor design, this UAV was
designed to produce the anti torque by deflecting the wing.
