Lesson Purpose: 
The purpose of this lesson is to understand what why not using or abusing drugs is important.

and virtual demonstration.

Review Key Concepts: 
Previous classes we covered major drugs used in our country and their effects on the body. 
Today we will discuss them further
Time: 3 minutes
Objectives:
The teacher will have objectives written on board and discuss them to the class.
­ During the lesson, students will discuss unlisted drugs and what they are
­During the lesson, see how these drugs can damage them in the near and distant future. 
Time: 5 minutes
Anticipatory Set:
We will talk about how these drugs can effect your everyday life and how they have 
derailed some peoples promising careers.

Checking for understanding (practice): After students have seen the power point and the 
effects of these various drugs, they will play a drug prevention trivia game through their 
cell phones to test their knowledge.
