Personal Target
1. Choose and describe an aspect from a teaching competency that you need to work on (Goal)
 Develop and use formative assessment instruments such as checklists to evaluate students’
performance in a variety of activity types

2. Describe what you will do to help achieve your goal (Strategies Used)
 I will observe the students through the activities to assess their knowledge and it will be a
benefit for me as an evidence because I will use two different checklists, one for me to know
what they understood and for the students to know their understanding.

3. Describe how you can tell if you’re achieving your goal (Evidence)
I will know if I achieve my goal when I will see how many of the students did know my lesson and
many of students need more learning because I will have the checklist as improvements.

I will put the material on the table but they won’t hold them until I finish saying the instructions.
And then I will give the instruction to the group leader and they can start doing it. After they finish
they will have some cards that have the question so they will try to find the answer by using the
balance scale.

I will be walking around if they need help and I will use the grading rubric.

Independent Experience (small group activity 2):


I have two different activities

Some groups will have puzzles game that has numbers and pictures, student will do this activity in
groups, they will have white paper and they will write number 6 so they will break it into 3 + 3 and
they will take the puzzle and find the right picture for example, three flowers plus three more will
be 6 so they stick it beside number 6.

Other groups will have worksheet they will have many different questions but they have the
answer at the top of the paper so for example, 3+3=? , at the top, they have number 6 in orange
so they will color it.

They will have a white paper to write how they found they answer 6. So when I will walk around I
will know if they understand.

Walk around and see their works.

In the last 10 minutes I will do the closing.

I will say to them: “girls clean your tables now and eyes on me, let’s revise what we took today by
doing group challenge of which group will answer correctly.”

I will use the data show to present the tree and I will give each group apple shape question and
each apple has a different question, I will have three apples and each apple has three different
colors of students level,

As a group, they have to look at the question together and find the answer and if they say it
correct their group will get 1 point.
