1. Choose and describe an aspect from a teaching competency that you need to work on (Goal)
Implement the reward system, positive words, and TPR strategy through the lesson to manage
students’ behavior.

2. Describe what you will do to help achieve your goal (Strategies Used)
I will start my lesson by applying TPR strategy to motivate the students for the lesson. In addition,
I will use a reward system to manage students behavior and I will praise (positive words) them to
do better.

3. Describe how you can tell if you’re achieving your goal (Evidence).
- The student will follow classroom rules to get the points so; this will help me to manage their
behavior. Regard to the evidence, I will take a photo of them through following the classroom
rules.

 I will greet the students and I will remind them about the classroom rules and
reward system. Then, I will open a song for them and ask them to sing to

engage them through the lesson and let them explore the lesson.

 I will begin my lesson with a short story that explains the whole
vocabularies that they will take it through the lesson. And I will stick
the important vocabulary on the board.
 Moreover, I will open the PowerPoint and I will display the pictures with sentence first I will read it
for them then, I will ask them to repeat it with me and then, they will read it alone.

Guided Experience. Activity 1: (whole class working with the teacher).

Activity 1: Read and answer: whole class with the teacher.

 Instructions:

This activity is about reading the questions and answering with the teacher. Each student will
have a small card with the marker it includes pictures with eight questions. I will read each
question for the students they have to look at the picture and answer it by writing the numbers,
words and putting a circle. We will do all questions together except question 7 and 8. This
activity will help students to recognize the new vocabulary in a better way.

Activity 2: Read the short sentence and stick.

 Instructions:

This activity is about read and stick. I will give each student small activity card with the cards
that includes different words and glue. Students have to look at the picture, read the short
sentence and complete it by sticking the card that they have in the correct place. When they
will finish their works I will ask them to read the sentences assess them by using a checklist.
