Week 2 Journal

In this week I asked the math teacher about the classroom because her classroom includes
the technology device which will help me to present the PowerPoint for the students. I did
my first observation with my MCT. The lesson was about the breakfast time and students
were enjoyed through the lesson first they did TPR strategies, listen to the song. I used a
puppet through explaining the lesson and let them to doing hands-on activities.

My MCT feedback was positive she said that students were engaged through the lesson
especially in solving the puzzle game they were collaborative with each other. She also,
gave me a positive comment about my PDP goal because I applied through the lesson which
is using effective formative assessment through the lesson. on the other hand, she said that
it will be better if I put more space for the students for writing because some students can’t
write the sentences.

My colleague comment was about making the tables like a group because when the
students used the materials through doing the activities some of the materials fall down. I
agree with her but, the classroom teacher and the principle does not allow as making a
group in the class because the class were too tight and it will be difficult for the students
through movement.
