The strength of the Lesson:

 The lesson centered focus was clear for the students:”Body Parts.”
 The lesson activities were carefully structured and were appropriate to the learners’
levels. An amazing video about Body Parts was prepared for the students.
 Some assessment techniques were in place during Mawada’s teaching.
 Mawada actively asked lots of questions about using a cube with body parts words to
monitor students’ understanding. The students were so enthusiastic to share their
knowledge.
 Mawada used lots of demonstrations to model the task. She gave the students
differentiated worksheets with body parts activities. When the students finished their
worksheets, Mawada asked the children to share their answers.

Areas for Development:

 The weakness of the lesson was a teacher's voice: Mawada used high voice almost all
of the teaching time.
 Next time, Mawada needs to use her calm and quiet voice to maintain classroom
behavior.
 Next weakness of the lesson was an informal assessment: Mawada was rushing with
the lesson and didn’t pay too much attention to checking individual students’ work.
 Next time, Mawada needs to monitor all students’ understanding carefully and give
them extra time if they finish their work early or seek for the peer support if they do
not understand what to do.
 Last weakness of the lesson was classroom management. During the group activity,
the classroom behavior was not managed properly. Mawada did not finish her lesson
smoothly.
 Next time, Mawada has to establish and maintain rules and clear routine for the
classroom behavior.
