Strengths of the lesson:

1. Students had a vast background knowledge of the topic.

2. Use of visual aids.

3. Centers were explained, students were engaged.

Areas for development:

1. The living and non-living activity was too simple for the students.

2. Try to create a few never ending task or extension activity for early finishers. This will ensure
that students are not sitting in idle.

3. You talked about ecosystems and quickly jumped into food chains. Although this was a review
lesson be sure to give students some information prior to giving them the activity.
