Overview  of  the  lesson:    Lesson  was  introduced  through  a  video.    The  students  appeared  to  have
enjoyed  the  video.    Followed  the  first  video  was  another  video,  it  was  fun,  entertaining,  and
educational.    The  video  modeled  takeaways  and  it  was  in  complete  alignment  with  the  objective
of  the  lesson.    The  lesson  continues  with  a  musical  chair  performance  while  the  students  count
the  number  of  chair  left.
The  lesson  had  a  very  good  structure  and  each  activity  had  a  purpose.    The  CPA  was  evident
during  the  lesson.

Areas  for  development:
Classroom’s  expectations  were  unknown  to  the  students.    The  gradual  release  was  not  evident.
Students  were  not  given  an  opportunity  to  show  their  understanding  individually.    A  prepared
worksheet  showing  some  pictorial  representation  would  have  worked  well.    Students  needed  to
have  more  practice  of  subtraction.    It  was  difficult  to  determine  whether  or  not  the  objective  of
the  lesson  has  been  met.

Focus  for  next  lesson:
Improve  classroom’s  routines
Maximize  the  instructional  time
