My name´s Marta and I´m 20.
Why are you learning English?
I love traveling to other countries, so English is very important. I want to go
to Los Angeles and New Zealand.

Which aspect of language is the most important for you?

For me, the most important thing is speaking. I need to communicate with
people when I go on vacation.

What aspects of language ore you good/bad at?

I´m not good at writing. I know how to say English words, but they are
difficult to spell! I like speaking why people and exchanging opinions. I´m
good at talking, in fact. I never stop!

How do you practice English outside your classroom?

I use the internet all the time, so I read the news in English and talk to my
cousin in Canada online.

A DAY IN CHICLAYO!
Here in Chiclayo there are different places that we can visit and enjoy. At dawn we
can have breakfast at "Trebol Café", located on Elías Aguirre Street. After having a
delicious breakfast, we can go to the "Amusement Park", I usually take a lot of
photos. This park has a beautiful reception hall, where they perform birthdays,
events and ceremonies. On a rainy day we can go to the Library of the city, I relax
here a lot, reading books whether they are old or modern. On a sunny day, we can
go as a family to the beach of "Pimentel", here we can enjoy the beautiful landscape
of the sea, as well as stroll along the Malecón. I love going to the beach, it's a
fantastic place. After returning from the beach, we can go to eat a delicious chicken
in the restaurant "Brasa Roja" as well as in the restaurant "La fuente cevichera de
Chiclayo", I occasionally go to eat a delicious barbecue in the "Cafe 900 "but we can
also go to eat a rich wantan soup in the chifa" Luna Llena ". If you want to go to a
nice place with a very special person you can visit the Las Musas Park which is
located on Garcilazo de la Vega Avenue. At night we can go to Real Plaza, where
there is a place called Happyland, here there are many games with which we can
have a lot of fun. I always have fun. Chiclayo is a famous city, known as the "City of
Friendship", acquired great importance due to the Archaeological Museum “Tumbas
Reales de Sipán”, since here are the remains of the maximum governor of the
Mochica Culture. This city is fantastic.

To start the day, we can have breakfast at "Trébol Café", located on Elias

The good places to eat are: the restaurant "Brasa Roja”, "La fuente
cevichera de Chiclayo", the cafeteria "Cafe 900" but also the chifa "Luna
Llena".

A romantic place in this city is the Las Musas Park, located on Avenida
Garcilazo de la Vega.

7. What can tourists do at night?

Tourists at night can go to Real Plaza, where there is a place called
Happyland, here are many games with which you can have fun.

8. Is this city famous for anything?

No, because Chiclayo is a famous city, which acquired great importance
due to the Archaeological Museum “Tumbas Reales de Sipán", since here
are the remains of the maximum governor of the Mochica Culture.
Acá en Chiclayo hay diferentes lugares que podemos visitar y disfrutar. Al amanecer
podemos desayunar en "Trebol Café", ubicado en la calle Elías Aguirre.
Despúes de tomar un delicioso desayuno, podemos ir al "Parque de Diversiones" , yo aqui
suelo tomarme muchas fotos. Este parque tiene un hermoso salon de recepciones, donde
realizan cumpleaños, eventos y ceremonias.
En un dia lluvioso podemos ir a la a Biblioteca de la ciudad, yo aqui me relajo
mucho,leyendo libros ya sean antiguos o modernos.
en un dia soleado, podemos ir en familia a la Playa de "Pimentel", aqui podemos disfrutar
el hermoso paisaje del mar, asi como tambien pasearse por el Malecón. Amo ir a la playa,
es un lugar fantastico.
Despues de regresar de la playa, podemos ir a comer un delicioso pollo en el resaturant
"Brasa Roja" asi como tambien en el resaturant "La fuente cevichera de Chiclayo" , yo de
vez en cuando voy a comer una rica parrila en el "Cafe 900" pero tambien podemos ir a
comer una rica sopa de wantan en el chifa "Luna Llena".
Si deseas ir a un lugar agradable con una persona muy especial puedes visitar el Parque
Las Musas que se encuentra ubicado en la avenida Garcilazo de la Vega.
En la noche podemos ir a Real Plaza, donde hay un lugar llamado Happyland , aqui hay
muchos juegos con los cuales podemos divertirnos mucho. Yo siempre me divierto.
Chiclayo es una ciudad famosa, conocida como la "Ciudad de la Amistad" , adquirio una
gran importancia debido al "Museo Arqueologico Tumbas Reales de Sipán" , ya que aqui
se encuentran los restos del maximo gobernador de la Cultura Mochica.
Esta ciudad es fantastica.

there´s a lot to see and do so come on let's go! First, have breakfast at Valois Cafeteria on East
53rd street. Barack Obama sometimes eats here, so you know it´s delicious!

After eating, take the subway to Millenium Park.This is an enourms park downtown with lots of
monuments, free events and beautiful views of the city and the lake.Before leaving,visit the
"Bean" and take a photo in the reflection.

After that,walk to the Art Institute to see old and modern art.

When you leave the museum, cross the road to the historic.

Route 66, the first highway across America.There are hundreds of restaurants for lunch, there´s a
Russian café, an Irish pub and an American hot-dog restaurant.
Go to the Magnificient Mile after lunch and shop in the three bigs malls and then go up the tall
John Hancock Observatory Tower, it´s very romantic! Chicago is famous for the blues, so finally,
you have to visit a blues Club-at nigth try Buddy Guy´s Legends, it´s fantastic!

Hay mucho que ver y hacer, vamos, vamos! Primero, desayune en la cafetería Valois en la calle 53
Este. Barack Obama a veces come aquí, ¡así que sabes que es delicioso!

Después de comer, tome el metro hasta Millenium Park. Este es un centro de parques en el centro
de la ciudad con muchos monumentos, eventos gratuitos y hermosas vistas de la ciudad y el lago.
Antes de salir, visite "Bean" y tome una foto en el reflejo.

Después de eso, camine hasta el Instituto de Arte para ver arte antiguo y moderno.

Al salir del museo, cruce el camino hacia el histórico.

Ruta 66, la primera autopista a través de América. Hay cientos de restaurantes para almorzar, hay
una cafetería rusa, un pub irlandés y un restaurante de perros calientes americanos.

Ve a la Magnificient Mile después del almuerzo y compra en los tres grandes centros comerciales y
luego sube a la alta Torre de Observación John Hancock, ¡es muy romántico! Chicago es famosa
por el blues, así que finalmente, tienes que visitar un Club de blues. En la noche, prueba Buddy
Guy´s Legends, ¡es fantástico!
