The arrestee above will be released automatically 24 hours from the time of arrest unless a magistrate signs an
order and such order is returned to the jail before that time. If the judge has refused to sign the order, the
arrestee will be released within a reasonable period of time not to exceed 24 hours.

I believe there is probable cause to charge the defendant with these charges because:
On 12/08/2018 I was dispatched to an impersonating an officer call. I was informed a male subject entered the
Best Western Plus in Springdale. The male individual was wearing a badge on a lanyard and smelled of
alcohol. The male asked to see the hot tub and asked for two towels to help catch some guy. The reporting
party explained the male was with another individual in a blacked out Crown Victoria vehicle.
I arrived in the area in the area and located a black Ford Crown Victoria. The vehicle was occupied by two
male subjects. I pulled behind the vehicle and followed it on Zion Park Blvd. I stopped the vehicle at 2400 Zion
Park Blvd. I walked up and spoke with the driver Jeffery Snyder who was identified by his drivers license.
While speaking with Jeffery I could smell the odor of an alcoholic beverage coming from the vehicle. I asked
Jeffery if he had been drinking and he stated he had not been drinking. Jeffery said his passenger had.

Alexander Buzz was identified by his drivers license. Alexander said he had been drinking a lot of alcohol.
Alexander said he was carrying his concealed weapon and it was loaded. Alexander had a loaded handgun
that was located in the back of his pants. Alexander said he was pretty intoxicated and did not carry the
weapon into the restaurant. Alexander had a security jacket on with two security patches on each side of the
sleeves. A security badge was located on a chain that belonged to Alexander. Alexander said the badge
belonged to him but he was not sure if he was wearing it in the hotel. Alexander had a pair of handcuffs on his
person also. Alexander said the badge and jacket were from his security job in Las Vegas. Alexander had not
worked for the security company for a year.
A warrant was written for Jeffery's vehicle. The warrant was served on Jeffery and his vehicle was searched.
During the search a glass pipe with burnt marijuana was located in the front seat of the vehicle. A .22 caliber
rifle and handgun were located on the backseat of the vehicle during the search. Jeffery had a knife that was
located in his front pocket. When asked about the glass pipe Jeffery said he would claim the pipe as his.
Jeffery said the rifle and handgun belonged to him also. Jeffery had been drinking alcohol beverages with
Alexander at The Brew Pub.
The person would constitute a substantial danger to any other person or to the community, or is likely to flee the
jurisdiction of the court (they pose a threat to the public and/or they are a flight risk).
