Unit: Life Cycles

Activity: Writing Activity: The Life Cycle of a Butterfly

Students will be given a worksheet with the images of the butterfly’s life
cycle in chronological order. Next to each stage, students must describe
what happens in complete sentences. Words will be placed on the board
for spelling reference.

**For the purpose of this portfolio and implementing differentiation based

on interest, I have decided to differentiate this activity with the assumption
that students will be completing a similar activity for the life cycle of the
white-tailed deer as well.
