Interim Executive Director Action Plan First 60 Days ‘The following represent a partial isting of the activities the Interim Executive Director will accomplish during the first 60 days. I's not a complete but gives the BICTA a snapshot of the range of activities to be handled once on board 41. Meet one-on-one with all BICTA Board of Directors. 2. Meet wih the FTA Regional Administrator 3. Meet wih the Mayor's andlor Chief Executive or Chief Administrative Officers of the member jurisdictions of BICTA, 4, Meet wth the ATU Bargaining Unit 5. Conduc a staff meeting of all administrative employees. 6. Meet wih Bus Operators during the AM Pull out 7. Meeting with Maintenance staff on all work shifts. ‘8. Meet with the Financial Consultants recently hired to review the scope of the consultant engagement 8. Meet wih the external auditors of the BICTA and review the audits for the past three years. "70. Meat wii BICTA Department Heads and task them to develop a transition report of their departments to give the Interim Executive Director a total essessment of their department including the constraints under their control and what they must hhave to improve operation efficiency. 114, Identity he key stakeholders in the community with the assistance of the Marketing Department and the Public Relations Consultant. 12. Review the Budget of the Current Fiscal Year to determine the financial condition of the BICTA month over month and year fo date actuals and projections. 13, Review the Operational Performance Data for the year. 14. Meet wth City of Birmingham Officials on the BRT, TOD and Maintenance Facilty as well as any other projects the City may be involved into support the BJCTA 18. Unders'and the key stakeholders of urbanized transportation planning and the role of BJCTA, Does BUGTA have an active role Inthe process and determine the amount of funding available to the BJCTA planning efforts. 48. Beginto lay the inital ground work for a Board Retreat to be scheduled within 2 to 3 weeks of coming on board. This would be a crtclly importart meeting to review what | have learned to date and establish potentially strategies for addressing tems that need policy direction, 17.Reviewall pending claims and law suits against the BICTA,
