for leading the study team to prepare a comprehensive plan
for flood control and bank protection along Jamuna utilizing
mathematical model tool, field survey and ensuring peoples’
participation. Work included but not limited to developing
and calibration of the projects model, analyzing of impacts
of proposed interventions and optimizing the structures
using model, preparation of inundation maps, bank erosion
rate, preparation of preliminary design of infrastructures,
cost estimates etc.

Exact duties rendered: Associated with the identification
of different loop-cut sites for the technical feasibility study.
Develop the hydrodynamic and morphological model for the
loop cut rivers. Detailed analysis is being carried out to
ascertain if loop-cuts would have beneficial impact on the
locality and will not have long term impacts on the river
reach. Associated with technical backstopping and quality
assurance of the project.

maximum possible abstraction of water from
nearby groundwater sources. In this context
DWASA has entrusted IWM to perform a
feasibility study. The main objective of the study
is to carry out a detailed feasibility study and
design of well field area for immediate water
