I will try to implement some strategies to manage students behavior in classroom such as; Classroom
rules like give me five, model the good behavior and praise good behavior, sad\happy face and Set
verbal limits for example; Ahmed you can’t do this to your friend, it’s not nice’.

Introduction (warmer activity + teacher active engagement)

Teacher will:

 First the teacher show the students baby doll toy, and ask them do you think this baby will
change or stay the same? Will he grow? How? Who feed her? Dose she need someone to take
care of her?

Students will:

 Participate and discus with the teacher

Teacher will:

 show 3 baby animals pictures on a PowerPoint ( chick, Cup, Calf) and then ask the students do
you think these baby animals will grow and change like the baby? Who does take care of them?
Do they have mother like the baby?

 Then the teacher bring small toy animals box, and tell the students that the animals (PowerPoint
- chick, Cup, Calf) lost their mothers, can you help them to find their mothers from the box?

 The teacher will ask one student to come a find the animal mother. After the students find the 3
baby animals mother’s, we will discuss together about the name of the animal and baby animal,
where they live, what they eat, do they lay eggs or give birth. Moreover, the teacher will show
the students other baby animals and their parents but the focus will be on (chick, Cup, Calf).

Students will:

 Participate with the teacher by answering

 Find the animal mother from the animals toy box

 Have dissuasion with the teacher about the animals and their babies

After that the teacher will summarize the ideas of that animals grow and change for example the Calf
grow and change to become a Cow.

flashcards to the students and match the baby animals with their parents.

 The teacher will assess the students understanding by observing the students while they work

Students will:

 Then students will have baby animals and parent’s flashcards, in groups the students will match
the baby animals with their parents.

Independent Experience (small group activity 1) - Worksheet – High level

In this activity, individually students will have animals and their babies matching worksheet, students
will match each mother animal to their baby, and then colour the animals.

Teacher will:

 Give clear instructions and model the activity

Independent Experience(small group activity 2) – Handprint Chicken with chicks


In this activity students will have yellow paint, pre-cut red tringles (chicken beak), black marker,
glue. Students will handprint chicken with chicks, glue the chicken beak, draw the chicken, chick’s
eyes and legs with the black marker.

Teacher will:

 Guide the activity, give clear instructions

 Model the activity

 Help the students with the hand print

Students will:

 Hand print chicken with chicks

 Glue the chicken beak

 Draw eyes and legs

Check their understanding – summarize – show what have they done

Teacher will:

Ask the students what was our lesson is about? What did they learn? Then show the students work
(worksheet, Handprint activity) and go through it.
