Summary
I am an enthusiastic, goal-oriented Physical Education teacher candidate with a talent for motivating and encouraging
active participation in a fun learning environment. I am also a certified fitness instructor and have taught fitness classes
for four years while going back to school to teach Physical Education. I have worked with a wide range of individuals of
all ages, providing supports and services for these individuals to meet their needs while working at Parsons State
Hospital and Training Center. I carry this into my teaching to ensure that Physical Education is a healthy learning
experience for all students.

 Assisting in the care of individuals with developmental disabilities and supporting them in providing the best
supports and services and quality of life possible.
 Position duties included: assisting residents with daily duties, hygiene(shower, dental, clothing, etc.), rides to
work sites, rides to doctor's appointments(dentist, hospital for tests, eye doctor, foot doctor, etc) assisting in
leisure activities, and budgeting for such activities.
Group Fitness Instructor 02/2015 to Current

 Teaching group fitness classes and helping women organize workout schedules, assisting with meal prepping
and working on setting goals and ways to reach these set goals.
 Promoting health and wellness to class members by encouraging sustainable habits and consistency.
