Keeping the Immigrant culture in America

Immigrants should retain their culture, because many people from around the world have

different cultures, language, and race compare to American culture. Language is Important for

young children and the next generations to speak a second language why? Because it will help

them to understand more when communicate to parents and grandparents when visiting their

origin country than just speaking English. Plus when they become young adults speaking

bilingual will get more opportunity to get a job for big companies or small companies that don’t

have different languages than English it will help to communicate customer service when they

have questions.

Although people from around the globe come to America for better opportunities and

raising children in America, it is very important because it teaches children to learn their native

language, that their parents speak would understand that where their parents are from? And how

is Important to speak a second language than just speaking English in the house. Some never

thought their kids to speak a second language because they are afraid that when they are in

America you have to speak English, and no other language it would be difficult for children to

not to speak another language than English and it would be more difficult for parents that don’t

understand or speaking English. An American politician said “Our attitude towards Immigration

reflect our faith in the American ideal we have always believed it possible for a man and a

woman who start at the bottom to rise as far as the talent and energy allow, neither race nor place

of birth should affect their chance” (Robert F Kennedy).

Different Culture in America are important for Americans, because many can learn the

new experience from Immigrants cultures that can change the American pop culture. America

does not have cultures, since this young country formed on the heels of revolution during an 18th

century rebellion against the superpower of Britain. Immigrants are the culture that formed

America to a Melting pot from different countries around the world that made America a power

house and a strong Economy. Kids born and raised in America is Important for them, because,

they need to learn the culture of their parents where there from? The history of their countries

and how they celebrate birthday, weddings, holidays or other type of culture events. Young

generation should not to be embarrassed or the dislike their parent Culture than knowing the

American modern pop culture. I believed that our cultures our traditions, our language are the

foundations upon which we build our identity for next generations. It is very important that the

tradition culture from their ancestors needs to be strong, alive and well, because they have taught

from past generations that showed how it is very important for the pass generations to the new

generations to know the Traditional and Culture. If they lose that traditional and culture it will be

a disappointment for their grant parents and their families that it is very important to keep this

Culture or Tradition in the coming years.

Cultures, Traditions and Language cannot be taken away or stop speaking to that

language in America, because different language is the culture perspective to the family and for

their people, it cannot be erased in their minds to let go of their pride and cultures, because it is

hard to let go of that culture or the language when having children or become teenagers born in

America. An article "Transplanting Cultural Roots”. An Immigrant name Shius, plus with her

children, 19-year-old Isaac and 17- year-old Angel moved to America from China in 1992. The

family came in for hope of a better life, including education for both kids and services for Isaac.

She Said “Food from the old country is just one of the links immigrant families have with their

native lands as they assimilate into a new lifestyle in America. Celebrating holidays, taking trips

and speaking their native language are additional ways they stay bridged to their homelands”

(Janovich, Adriana). Although it is part of the past generations and show the Present generation

that no matter what is their ethnic group? Or religious, it is Important for second-generation born

in America should assimilate into a new lifestyle with Old and New Culture.

America doesn’t have much food culture much only original American ideas might be

the hamburger or fried chicken both of which have done little but permeate obesity and heart

disease throughout the country. But with more Immigrants like Asia, Australia, Europe, Latin

America and Africa, America has been added more flavor to the list making more diverse dishes

and cultures from around the World. America is not alone in Addition thanks to Immigrants you

can find many different foreign markets, restaurants and Big Business Companies very easy and

you don’t need to fly to another Country just to get an items that you need. Second Generation

Born in America would learned many new experience of diverse street food and restaurants and

try new things than knowing of Burgers, fries and Fried chicken. Without Immigrants in America

we wouldn’t have an explosion of culture, food, religion, tradition and the economy.
