Software Requirement
Before you can fully use the HP3390 printer, you must call the help desk and request that the HP3390 printer
software be installed on your computer.

Select the Print option after selecting the File menu. The print window is displayed:
Click on the downward arrow in the Name box and select a HP3390 printer. After selecting the number of copies
and how many pages to print, click the OK button.

To the right of the 3390 console screen display is the COPY button.
Above the COPY button are various options (#of Copies, Paper, etc.).
To use the default settings for the COPY options to make 1 copy:
1. Place the document face up in the feeder.
2. Press the COPY button.
If you want to modify a COPY option, the following will modify the # of Copies option. The same procedure would
be used to modify any of the COPYoptions.
1. Press the # of Copies button.
2. In the 3390 console screen display, the number 1 will be displayed.
3. Below the 3390 console screen display are the following buttons:
o Left arrow button
o Enter button
o Right arrow button
o Cancel button
4. Press the Right arrow button to increase the number of Copies.
5. Press the Left arrow button to decrease the number of Copies.
6. If you decide not to modify the number of Copies, press the Cancel button. Otherwise, press the Enter
key.
7. After modifying the various COPY options, press the Enter button to create "Custom settings" which will
display in the 3390 console screen display.
8. Finally, press the Start Copy button.
9. When finished with the COPY function, press the Cancel button to reset the COPY options to their default
settings.

After the HP3390 software is installed on your computer, select the START menu
(START=>Programs=>HP=>HP LaserJet 3390)
To create a shortcut right click on HP LaserJet 3390 and select Send To=>Desktop
To set up SCAN, select the icon you just created. The following will be displayed.
Select Setup and the following window will be displayed.
Select the option to create a new destination with settings that you would specify and click the Next button.
Enter the name for this new destination. Enter a check mark in the box to send the new destination to the all-in-
one. In the D06G box enter the name you typed in the first box.
Click the NEXT button. Your settings will be displayed and a prompt asking you to save your settings. If you do
not want those settings, select Cancel button and start over.
All of the above is done the first time you want to scan. You have defined the settings needed to do a scan.
The following steps would be done each time that you scan a document:
1. Place the documents on the feeder facing upward.
2. On the right hand side of the console you will see SCAN .
3. Under that you have 2 buttons: Scan to and Scan.
4. Press the Scan to button.
5. With the arrows under the LCD screen choose the computer name (i.e. this is the name you entered in the
D06G box).
6. Press the Scan button. Note that it may take a few seconds for the scan.
7. Take your documents once the scan is complete.
8. Check the folder that you specified for your scanned documents (i.e. the first box in the File Information
window and confirm the documents are there.

HP 5035 Initial Screen Display

3. To send to yourself or people in the EPA, type the first name and the last name.
4. Press OK when finished entering name.
5. Select Subject and the keyboard is displayed.
6. Type the name of your email.
7. If you look below on the screen, it will have a small arrow button titled More Options.
8. Press it if you need to choose more options (i.e. changing the document format).
9. Put the document printed side face up on the document feeder.
10. Press START.
11. This will copy the document and will ask if you would like to save settings.
12. Choose the NO option.

Select the Print option after selecting the File menu. The print window is displayed:
Click on the downward arrow in the Name box and select a HP4250 printer. After selecting the number of copies
and how many pages to print, click the OK button.
Select the Print option after selecting the File menu. The print window is displayed.
Click on the downward arrow in the Name box and select a HP4250 printer. Now select the Properties button.
The Document Properties window is displayed.
Select the Job Storage tab to display the Job Storage window
On the Job Storage window do the following as shown in the next display:
When you are ready to print the job on the 4250 printer located at 10.174, press the MENU button on the printer
to see the following display. Press the GREEN button with a white checkmark to select the option RETRIEVE JOB.
A display of your userid with a number next to it shows the number of jobs you have awaiting print.
Press the GREEN button and a display shows the job names of the jobs awaiting print.
Press the GREEN button to select which job you want. The next display gives you the option to PRINT or DELETE
the job. Highlight the option you want and press the GREEN button.
The following display prompts you for the 4 digit PIN code you created when you directed the job to this printer.
Press the UP and DOWN arrows to enter the DIGIT. Press the LEFT and RIGHT arrows to move to the next
position. After entering the 4 digits, press the GREEN button.
The last display prompts you for the number of COPIES that you want printed. Use the UP and DOWN arrows to
select the number of COPIES and press the GREEN button.
This is the END (finally...) of how to print a confidential job on a HP4250 printer.

Software Requirement
Before you can fully use the Canon IR 4570G printer, you must call the help desk and request that the Canon IR
4570G printer software be installed on your computer.
Bring up Internet Explorer and type the IP address of the Canon printer in the address window and press the
Enter key:
Select Settings in the upper right corner of the window. The User Inboxes Settings window is displayed:
Be sure to select each of the check boxes. Remember your password!! Before selecting Set URL Send, click on
the Address Books window. The Address Books window is displayed:
Scroll down and select your name. Now click on the OK button. The User Inboxes Settings window will be
displayed again. Confirm that there is an address in the URL window and that all the check boxes have been
selected.
The mailbox setup is completed. The Internet Explorer window can be closed.
When you are ready to print a document (for example a Notepad document), select the Print option and a
window will be displayed:
Select the 10_040_4570_Canon_Ptr and click on Preferences button. The Printing Preferences window is
displayed. In the Output Method window (on the right side) select Store .
Another window pops up. Select the Yes button.
When you are ready to print the document, open up an Internet Explorer window and in the address window type
204.46.110.177 which is the IP address of printer id 10_040_4570 located in cubicle 40. The Remote UI window
will be displayed. Select the Mailbox option. The Enter Password window is displayed prompting you for your
password (you know, the one that you have forgotten).

Click on the downward arrow in the Name box and select a Canon IR 4570G printer. After selecting the number of
copies and how many pages to print, click the OK button.

HP DeskJet 1600C
How to Print on the Color HP DeskJet 1600C

This printer is locally connected to the second desktop computer (to the left) in the Graphics room.Select the
Print option after selecting the File menu. The print window is displayed:
Click on the downward arrow in the Name box and select the HP1600 printer. After selecting the number of
copies and how many pages to print, click the OK button.

Click on the downward arrow in the Name box and select the HP2800 printer. Click on the Properties button if
you wish to use long and wide sheets. Select which tray you will manually load these sheets into. Now click the
OK button. This should display the first print window. After selecting the number of copies and how many pages
to print, click the OK button.
