    İZMİR, TURKEY

     Aliağa, is a town and a district of Izmir


    Province in the Aegean Region of Turkey.
    The town is situated at about 50 km north
    of Izmir. It has a big port, mainly for oil and
    bulk. Its economic activity is based on
    tourism, shipbreaking and an oil refinery.
    Aliağa has a population of 91,026.
    The main square in our town,
    Cumhuriyet Square
    Bike path
    Area for women entrepreneurs
    PETKİM, a big petro-chemical company .
    Ship breaking recycling yard.
    There are two refineries in Aliağa.
    Tüpraş and Star.
    Aliağa attracts many tourists, as well.
