Unlocking the Magic of Minnedosa

Continued from Page 1

I n addition to bragging rights, the prize is a Santa tro-

phy that can be displayed by The Town until next year’s
Santa parade.
Immediately following the conclusion of the parade,
Moonlight Madness shopping was held allowing shop-
pers extended store hours, bargains and the chance to
earn a key to unlock the magic of Main Street and win
a grand prize of $500 in Minnedosa Money. This year’s
lucky winner was Rebecca Dyck of Minnedosa.
Saturday, December 8th brought even more festivi-
ties to town. The Santa Day Craft sale, held at the United
Church was a packed house with a huge variety of ven-
dors showing their wares. The event raised over $500,
which was all donated to the Minnedosa and Area Food

Mrs. Claus for the youngsters, there were books for sale
and door prizes. The door prize winners were Cearan
Scott, who won a children’s Christmas story and Ray Orr,
who won a $50 gift certificate to Farmhouse 50.
Other Santa Day activities included photos with San-

Santa Comes to Town By DARRYL HOLYK

A s part of his world-

Mr. Claus visited with the
children at the Community
Confernece Centre while
his jolly wife read to chil-
