Operational issues
 Managing design integrity
▫ Across disciplines/domains
 Coordinating activities
▫ Avoiding conflicts in design/manufacture/support
 Managing compliance
▫ Conforming to regulations, managing risks
and liability
 Achieving performance goals

The challenge of Change
 Excessive time from initiation and approval of the change to delivery
of the change data to those who will execute the change that
impacts implementation and causes rework
 Methods and processes for delivery and documentation of field
changes back to Engineering and Change Management, are
inconsistent and unreliable
 Methods and processes for delivery and documentation of actual
production progress are inconsistent which causes errors and rework
due to incorrectly assessing the current state in which to apply a

Inception Elaboration Construction Transition

Envision and Plan Iteratively define and build a consumable solution Release and Rollout

 Enables lean-agile practices at enterprise

scale
 Leverages the flexible Aras architecture
 Iterative small wins for end-user buy-in
 Solutions delivered in weeks, not years
