ANGELOLOGY
10 Dispensation of Prophecies
1. The Rapture of the Church- The term rapture is derived from the Latin verb rapere, which means “to
transport from one place to another.” It will take place when the Lord Jesus comes in the air to catch up his
own. (1 Thess. 4:15-17; 1 Cor. 15:51-53). The rapture will take place before the tribulation (pre-tribulation)
and includes all believers (Rom. 5:9; 1 Thess. 1:10). The church will escape the tribulation. As God’s
ambassadors on earth, we will be called home before the tribulation just as a king calls back his ambassador
from another country before a war starts (Rev. 4:1; 2 Cor. 5:20). Its purpose is to judge and reward the church
of God, and to remove the Spirit of God.
2. The Bema—The Judgement Seat of Christ- The word bema in Greek was a “reward seat.” After the church
has been called home to heaven, the Lord will gather every member before the bema for the purpose of
examining each one giving the proper reward to each. At bema judgement all stewards (believers) will stand
before their Lord and Master and be required to give an account of the way they have used their privileges
and responsibilities from the moment of their conversion. 1 Cor. 3:10-13 gives us an idea that God classifies
the works of believers into one of the following six areas: gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble.
These works will be tested into fire and only those indestructible objects (gold, silver, and precious stones)
will survive and thrive in fire and be offered to God. Though it is difficult to know just what goes to make
up a “golden work” or a “stubble work,” we are informed that God is interested in certain areas of our lives.
Some will receive rewards/ crowns: incorruptible, rejoicing, life, righteousness, and glory. These “crowns”
will actually be talents and abilities with which to glorify Christ. But, sadly, some will also suffer loss.
6. The Second Coming of Christ- Will happen immediately after the tribulation, Christ the Saviour will
return and touch down upon the Mt. of Olives and gather the Israelite remnant in
Edom to march towards Armageddon together

Finally the theme ought to be specific.
24) 6 Guidelines in choosing a Theme

The Lord Jesus was born around 5 BC.
Started His earthly ministry around AD 27.
Gave up His ghost around AD 30.
Was hanged on the Cross from 9 am to 3 pm.
At exactly 12 pm, heavens darkened and He was heard shouting “My God,
my God, why has thou forsaken me.” Gk. verb indicates He was shouting it
