Retrospective Syllabus Entry Adapted from the CLP Beginner 3 ESL Course

I. Course Curriculum Goals:

1. Providing students an ample amount of input so that students can use simple structures
and vocabulary to communicate about travel, history, discovery, and the weekend.
2. Facilitating students in their target language acquisition by creating opportunities to use
the language learned in the class in meaningful and real-life contexts, including using
language functions to make requests, apologize, talk about the past, and buy tickets; write
travel advice, a blog, an email, and an invitation.
3. Focusing on all language macro- and micro-skills and components while always standing
by as a useful resource in helping student be accurate and fluent through activities which
promote interactions.
